Motorsport Radio made its highly anticipated and hugely well-received live broadcasting debut at the penultimate round of Cool FAB-Racing from Red Lodge last weekend.

As part of the Motorsport Media Ltd group, Motorsport Radio was launched by Lester Forbes and Tom Brooks just over two weeks ago, with the core aim being to provide an all-in-one motorsport hub with the freshest new content including articles, videos and – of course – audio, such as live radio programmes and podcasts.

Throughout Saturday and Sunday the team provided exclusive live radio coverage of the Cool FAB-Racing British Minibikes Championship by covering all Qualifying sessions and Races. Tom was on commentary duties, whilst Lester produced the sound for the entire event.  As well as being broadcast on Motorsport Radio’s website, it was also available to listen to live on our PA system around the circuit!

Alongside this, a visual radio feed was also broadcast, with a camera overlooking the track to give the audience a unique insight into the racing action, and provide advertising opportunities for Cool FAB-Racing’s clients, including brand new sponsor Bardney Race Fairings, who were interviewed live on-air.

Tom was also joined by a number of different co-commentators throughout the event, including British Supersport rider for Quattro Plant Cool Kawasaki, Andy Reid, as well as MiniGP 70 rider, Blake Ansell, who missed racing in the event due to an injury sustained whilst competing in the Aprilia Superteens weekend at Mallory Park.

Thank you to all of the riders who joined us on-air for our coverage of Round 7 of Cool FAB-Racing and to you for watching and listening to our exclusive live broadcasts! Both Tom and Lester will be back in the paddock for the final time this season at Mallory Park on the 28th and 30th of October.
