The European Broadcast Union (EBU) has chosen Motorsport Radio to become a pioneer of digital radio and receive a new .radio domain as one of only a few exclusive websites.

As a member of the EBU’s pioneer programme for its new TLD .radio, Motorsport Radio will change its address to become www.motorsport.radio immediately and will help engage in promoting the new .radio domains to the radio community before it’s public launch.

.radio TLD Manager for the EBU Alain Artero said “While enjoying a high degree of exclusivity and visibility, these pioneers will be ambassadors for the “.radio” TLD, participating alongside the EBU and the Radio Community in the development of a new digital radio territory.

Motorsport Radio was selected to become a radio ambassador and pioneer based on variety, promotion efforts and its visibility.

Lester Forbes, Owner of Motorsport Media and the Motorsport Radio brand said “This is a brilliant and unique opportunity to be among the very first in the world to showcase ourselves and our services to the radio community.

I’m absolutely thrilled that Motorsport Radio has been designated as a pioneer of digital radio, being passionate about making radio all my life, this really is a highlight, this is a very special thing indeed.”
